Sector 13 Curious Case Files
There is something more than just the mundane world. The Meadows family has long since been part of the secret agency with files that involve everything from the supernatural to espionage. The agents are responsible for incredible tasks and ultimately saving the world, which is just an ordinary day for them. When the youngest of the Meadows family gets her badge, she discovers the ancient history that is leading to an apocalyptic event for more powerful than anything that has ever happened on Earth before. It's not just about finding and capturing monsters, it's about discovering secrets well hidden throughout history. It's about the what ifs and the possibilities that maybe all of the bedtime stories you were ever told were true. There could be a big, bad wolf. There could be giants and fairies. There could be angels and demons. There could be a world hidden within a world. The main character is a girl from a rich, powerful family within the Agency, however she does not being forced into the family role. Instead, she does her own thing, and Sector 13 focuses on cryptids and curiosities, is just her thing. It's her charming abilities that make her unique and good at her job, however it's her blood that makes her part of the prophecy, whether she wants to be or not.

If you recall Abbigail Meadows, friend to Sienna Benjamin in the Blue Moon Murder Mystery series, you will remember the little blonde who is afraid of investigating murder. You may wonder how such a character would get involved with the monsters, folklore, or even pseudoscience, however by blood, it becomes her forte. She took an oath of secrecy and vowed to protect, staking her life on it. Everyone in the Agency does, and they do whatever it takes to keep the world safe. From whom?

Abbigail Meadows is a rich, little, white girl whose family has money and power. However, Abbi wants to break free, go her own way. Upon going to school to be a private investigator, her eyes are opened when she goes for a practicum in Louisiana. But, that is also where her true abilities shine. As she takes on outside work of finding a monster, she loses interest in private investigations. Abnormal creatures are much more interesting.
She realizes that she may be forced to follow in the family's steps, and become like the rest of them. That's not such a bad thing. But who are they really?

When Abbi goes to the central academy for official training her father could not be happier, however Abbi soon realizes that her destiny is going to be a little different than what he decided for her. In fact, there are things that happen out of her control as well, that go on to shape her future. From understanding the human psyche, Abbi finds that there is an answer to everything based on science. However, when she goes home for Christmas, she faces something for more powerful, grim, and beyond what modern day science has even been able to explain. Worse, she comes to realize that the native folklore can be real and very dangerous.

On top of it all, she finds artifacts that have unbelievable power, that shakes her to the core.

Unfortunately, it was not all that she thought it would be. While she discovers some of the most amazing animals and artifacts with incredible power, it came at a very high price.

Reeling from the aftermath of what happened, Abbi deals with it, trying to move forward. Taking a holiday is just what she needs, especially when it is to stand up in the wedding ceremony for her friend Benji. However, once again, life has other plans. With the Order of Assassins closing in, Abbi and Lorem are called to Ireland. It is there that she learns more about herself, and her mother. Unfortunately, she may lose her father in the process of keeping her secret.
